The Donatello tissue processor has an E.V.A. (Emergency Evoluted Algorithm), an intelligent and virtual algorithm that automatically responds to any mechanical blocks. These are designed to problem-solve without disrupting the current sample processing phase.

- SPC lock system, fully software-controlled Three paraffin tanks
- Dynamic LED for each reagent station
