Argos 6X

The ARGOS 6X sets new standards in microscopy: it is the world’s first system to combine autonomous robotics with the efficiency of six scanner units, each equipped with three objectives. This enables unparalleled flexibility, from high-resolution image acquisition to location-independent diagnosis and fully automated archiving of slides.

The ARGOS 6X is part of an integrated system that paves the way to fully digital pathology.
Once the slides have been scanned in the ARGOS 6X and assigned to the corresponding case, they can be checked for quality assurance on the device’s own touch display. The scans created can then be reviewed in the ARGOS VIEWER software directly at the user’s workstation and thus, if required, independently of the scanning unit’s location.

The initiation of a further optional scan (RE-SCAN®) for higher detail images is possible without any problems, as the slides concerned are held in the waiting position of the ARGOS 6X for this purpose until the case is completely sealed for further scans. The images are handled using the ARGOS POINTER input device, which is based on the operating elements of classic microscopes and thus enables fatigue-free handling of the digital image material.
